Drone Mapping
UAV photogrammetry producing high-resolution orthomosaics, digital terrain models and 3D point clouds.
Drone survey covers ground quickly. For sites measured in hundreds or thousands of hectares, a UAV captures in a day what ground survey would spend weeks on, and produces imagery as well as measurement.
We fly with ground control so the output is properly georeferenced rather than approximately positioned, and deliver orthomosaics, surface and terrain models, contours and point clouds.
It does not replace ground survey everywhere — dense canopy, legal boundary work and high-precision setting out still need conventional methods — and we will say which is appropriate for your site.

Frequently asked questions
How accurate is drone mapping?
With properly surveyed ground control, centimetre-level accuracy is achievable on open ground. Accuracy claimed without ground control should be treated with caution.
Do you need permission to fly?
Yes. UAV operations are regulated, and we handle the approvals and operate within the applicable requirements. Some areas near airports and restricted sites need additional clearance and lead time.
Can a drone survey under trees?
No. Photogrammetry measures what the camera can see, so canopy hides the ground beneath it. Vegetated sites are surveyed conventionally, or by combining both methods.
