GIS Services

Spatial data capture, analysis, database management and thematic mapping for land management and decision support.

A geographic information system connects location to everything else you know — assets, customers, service areas, environmental conditions — and makes patterns visible that a spreadsheet keeps hidden.

We build spatial databases from the ground up: field data capture, digitising existing records, structuring the data so it can be maintained, and producing the maps and analysis that answer the question at hand.

The value of a GIS is in whether it survives the project that created it. We design for handover, with consistent collection methods, documented metadata and a structure your own team can keep current.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to buy GIS software?

Not necessarily. We can deliver into open-source tools that cost nothing to run, or into whatever platform your organisation already licences. We will recommend based on who has to maintain it, not on what is fashionable.

Can you work with data we already have?

Yes, and usually we should. Existing records, drawings and spreadsheets can be cleaned, georeferenced and brought into the database rather than collected again.

Will you train our staff to use it?

Yes. A handover session is part of how we scope GIS work — a database nobody in the organisation can update stops being useful the moment we leave.
